Bear Bear Apps LLC was formed in 2026 as an independent app development company with the express purpose of developing Shotreps.
The shooting community is underserved in the app space. The mission of Shotreps is to provide a solid, dependable, AI-powered platform that helps shooting sports enthusiasts raise their baseline of skill and become more competent, responsible, and accountable shooters.
Shotreps is an AI-powered firearms training platform outfitted with a built-in shot timer, optic zeroing assistant, 188 unique shooting drills, an AI coach, AI target reader, ballistics calculator, range session planner, and more.
My name is Evan Jones, I was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I'm grateful to be part of the vibrant shooting community here, which has been the primary inspiration for developing Shotreps. I know so many people who love spending a day at the range but who are unrealistic about their skill level because they don't use specific drills, a shot timer, or any other tools to build a real data set to work from. I built Shotreps to provide a reliable, easy-to-use platform that structures range time, structures data collection, and helps users identify their strengths as well as their opportunities to improve.
I am a passionate believer in the Second Amendment and the principles of private firearm ownership. I also believe firmly that those who choose to own firearms carry a profound responsibility: to be competent and realistic about their abilities, and to hold themselves to high practical and ethical standards in how they use them.
Our goal at Bear Bear Apps LLC is to keep bringing value to the shooting community through sophisticated, yet simple-to-use tools that raise the baseline of skill for individual shooters and the community at large.
